A forced air furnace is made up of several components including:
  • heat exchanger
  • fan center
  • oil burner

Cold air enters the furnace through ductwork.
It passes through the heat exchanger
where it is heated. Then air travels through the ductwork
to the vents.

Furnaces come in many configurations to suit the individual layout of your home. Some layouts require a 'highboy' or a 'lowboy' model. Small areas will benefit from a compact model. The size of the house also will influence the type of furnce we will recommend.
Hiboy model
Compact - ideal for small areas, this furnace can be suspended for horizontal and down flow.
Lowboy model
GRANBY - regular oil tank, widely used for domestic purposes. 12 gauge steel,
200 GAL (910 L).
This bottom-fed tank is warranted by manufacturer
for 10 years.
GRANBY 20+ specially treated/coated on outside to protect from corrosion. UV resistant with a high gloss finish. Manufacturer warranty 20 years. 200 & 250 GAL
The FIBERGLASS oil tank - corrosion resistant design doubles service life. UV and fire resistant material. Can be safely installed indoors or outside. 25 years limited warranty against corrosion. 200 & 250 GAL
